Meet claire

Claire Free is a calligrapher and designer based out of Boise, Idaho—but she’ll be the first to proudly tell you that she’s a born-and-raised West Texan (Lubbock, to be exact!).

Claire loves the entire design process from sketch to final result: whether it’s a custom logo for your business or save the dates and invitations for your wedding, everything that is produced by Inkling Calligraphy is personally created and hand-lettered by Claire.

If you’re looking for a unique experience or gift, a seat at one of Claire’s calligraphy workshops is the perfect idea. She has been teaching these classes for over 3 years and has taught more than 200 students the art of modern calligraphy.

Her other interests include: spending time with her husband and daughters, writing, playing tennis, and continuing her never-ending quest for the best BBQ and Mexican food in the Treasure Valley.
